The Hivos organization

Hivos is managed by an Executive Board, made up of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Anne Jellema, and Chief Operations Officer (COO) Michel Farkas. The Management Team includes the heads of the Strategy and Impact Department and the Business Development Department, the directors of our four regional hubs in Latin America, East Africa, Southern Africa and the Middle East & North Africa, and some other management positions.

The Supervisory Council is chaired by Diana Monissen.

Hivos Theory of Change

Hivos values working with Theory of Change (ToC) as an appropriate approach to guide its strategic thinking and action, as well as its collaborative action with others. A Theory of Change approach can be used for different purposes, by different users, and at different moments in the cycle of developing, monitoring, reviewing or evaluating a program or strategy.
